I'm not sure I want to spring the 300 bucks for a 4 into 1 set right yet. There is a pair on ebay off of an 80 kz650. Will those pipes work for my 79 SR? 1979 SR650 D2 Attachments:

Years ago I put an exhaust off an SR 650 on a 78 650 C and it fit with no problem. So I'm gonna say yes you should be able to go the reverse direction without any trouble. You will lose the crisscross pipes but as far as function goes it should be just fine and a lot quieter. Hope this helps.

77KZ650 Offline User Posts: 1397 Thank you received: 7	look at an aftermarket pipe thats fits your bike, it should give a list of other bikes it fits as well, meaning all of the stock pipes should swap for the modles listed 07 MDP Rookie of the Year 01 ZX-12R street/drag bike. 8.97 @155.7 pump gas, dot tires, no bars, no power adders. top speed in the 1/4: 161MPH
