KZ 1000 Head Cracks in spark plug threads

Picked up a used 1980 KZ1000 head.Has some cracks running from the spark plug treads to the valve seats.Have talked to a lot of people some say use it will not hurt any thing.Some say scrap it, need some feed back from you all. Thanks

are they actual cracks or just the way the casting looks?if they are actual cracks chuck it;)

This is quite common. If you are just going to clean it up, maybe do a valve job, and run it, it will be OK.
However, if you were going to put a bunch of coin in it, porting, etc, you might want to locate a nicer core.
