84 ZN700 Valve Clearance

So I'm checking out my valve clearances, and I need to know the valve clearance ranges I should be getting. I have the haynes repair manual for the 750cc, and they list two ranges for the valve clearances, one is 0.08-0.18mm for models and another for 0.13-0.23mm. I think the 700 engine should have similar values to a 750, but I could be wrong.

I can't locate my clearance listing for the ZN700 right now, but I believe the 750 Spectre is close to, if not exactely the same.
I'd imagine the two diff clearance range listings in your Haynes manual would be for either hot and cold measurements, or intake and exhaust measurements.

the two valve clearances appear to be for different engine variations. It says that the GPz models should have the bigger clearances. I guess I'll just stick with the 0.08-0.18. Another question, do the valve clearances normally grow or shrink with wear? I have a few valves with 0.09mm clearance and I was going to loosen them up if the clearance is going to shrink later on.

from what i know, is that the valve bangs itself against the valve seat billions of times over because of the valve spring, eventualy closing the gap.
I thing the z1900s have softer seats and need more attention
