under bucket shims?

If you have under bucket shims can you just use kz650 shims or do they have to be from the suplier of the buckets.My bike came this way and I dont know what make the buckets are.

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.
01 CBR600F4i Track bike.

I've used the 650 shims with at least a couple of different brands of aftermarket buckets. Should be OK.

We make our retainers to use KZ650 shims.
