Compatibility?
20 Aug 2006 10:28
Ok, I've decided to do a 1075 kit on my 76kz900a4 . I found a donor I think for the cylinders ( so I won't have to sleeve mine) from a 80's kz1000 police bike. Will this be compatible?
Thanks,
Austin

J block has slide guides for cam chain. kz has roller. Have
heard that slide is more efficient. How about comparing the
sleeves from the police bike to the 900. 998->1075 should not
be too much of a stretch, Will save having to buy sleeves. What
you really want is the 1015 block from the kz1000. Buy one
with worn sleeves and save some $.
