just out of pure curiousity, would a 750 twin engine, preferably a 78/79, fit into a kz 650 sr frame? and what would it all entail to work?

the exhaust would hit the frame, i put a 1000 motor in a twin frame and had to widen the frame to clear the exhaust

Plus the twin is taller and hits the main frame tube, I already tried it on a 750 four frame :)

If you cut and weld the bottom of the frame you can get it to fit, it would be easier to fit a 1000 motor though. If you have a 750 twin motor you can get 750 twin frames cheap and just swap the 650 suspension onto it.

I just happen to have a '78 750 frame out in my shed, getting in my way. If you are willing to drive 2 hours, you can come get it. It would clean up nice, just missing the side and center stands....I would love to have somebody take it away. Please?
