Just a quick, simple question (just no quick or simple for me) for some of you out there. Does the cylinder case from a 1983 GPZ1100 just "bolt" on to a J-model 1982 engine?

And by "bolt" on, I mean that while it might be a pain in the ass, there is not a compatability problem that says "My god you idiot. that won't go at all".

you can't use the pistons 18mm wrist pin and 4 valve per

aside from 83-84 gpz1100 = zx1100A1/A2 and 81-82 = kz1100B1/B2
and the dfferent part number than used for any of the 81-82 1100 bikes i could find no info

here i'm needing an 1100 block for an 82
the 81-82 block will fit in place of the 998 with a little work

do you have it already?

Yes, but you will have to bore the crankcases to take the larger sleeves, which means a total stripdown.
