So I'm riding around on my bike, noticing that she doesn't have enough power down low in the revs to start off in first gear. She bucks, I up the revs a bit, and off she goes. So i put my hand behind the exhaust pipes(no crossover on mine) and the one coming from 3,4 is more forceful than the one coming from 1,2. Now I know that the engine is firing on all fours, cuz every pipe is hot.

So my question is, is it rings, carb related, or valve clearance? Just lookin for all culprits so I can track this down.

What do your plugs look like? How's the point gap and timing? How about the valve clearance?

Hmmm.........might be worth investing in a compression tester and checking compression on each cylinder.
