Z2 engine cases

What are 74 z2 engine cases worth in the US. Guy local has cases but thats it. 

Tricky question. Probably for someone assembling a Z2, a higher price is warranted. I'm guessing that there are no more than 20 - 30 Z2's in this country...and as those come up for sale, they are being sent back to Japan, where a market still exists. With a little work, a Z2 case could work for a Z1, but why would you, when there are still Z1 cases bumping around? I've a Z1B case set that I bought for about US$100.00, so a Z2 case set should bring at least that, unless you have a Z2 needing a case replacement...in which event, it depends on how hungry the buyer would be. People looking for Z2 parts in this country are uncommon.

Yes my thoughts exactly, I think he wants to much ,$500. He knows they are rare but that's the problem,  so are the people that would need a set

Yes, I suspect he will be sitting on those cases for a long time...at $500.00.

Just because something is rare; doesn’t mean it’s valuable…
