Clutch starter

Hello Guys, I noticed for the first time when engine is really hot my clutch starter begins to slip.. can I buy some rollers and springs or Its better to purchase on Ebay « Vinse clutch starter from Poland » ?! Do the gears need to be changed at the same time?! Thank youu

Waste of time, money and effort putting just new springs and rollers in unless you have some desire to do it again properly within a year.
also check your starter gear for ridge wear.

Yes, you can purchase only springs and rollers,....but removing and installing the starter clutch is a lot,...and I mean a lot of work.,....exhaust, oil pan, whole tranny clutch, oil pump, secondary shaft,...all have to come out to get to it.,.....and don't get me started with proper tools needed.
....and is not only the springs and rollers may degrade, the inner and outer races could develop microscopic cracks, or wear, no visible to naked eye.,....you don't want to do this again anytime soon, thus is better to replace with a whole brand new starter clutch, if you can get it.
.....and by the way, on secondary shaft there is also a cushy drive.,.....rubber slices.......I'd plan on changing that,......they get hard and compressed.
