Z1 Clutch Thrust Washer Location
Yesterday 13:40
I need to confirm the location of the clutch thrust washer (part number 92026-022) prior to assembling my engine.
Looking at the parts manual and the service manual, they seem to contradict each other.
The parts manual shows the washer between the input shaft bearing and the back of the clutch housing, while the service manual shows it between the front of the housing and the clutch hub.
If I place the washer between the bearing and the housing, the reduction gear teeth line up perfectly with the crankshaft teeth, but they don't if I place the washer between the housing and the hub.

The thrust washer sits between the front of the clutch basket and the rear of the hub..
It's the combined top hat thrust washer / input shaft needle bearing sleeve that fits in the clutch basket from behind.
