Delkevic exhaust system db reduction

Hi,I have a KAWASAKI SR650 Z650D 78–81 FULL 4-1 STAINLESS EXHAUST CLASSIC MEGAPHONE SILENCER system, and in general I’m happy with it.
My understanding is that there is a dB killer inside it from when it was new — a metal insert with holes in it, correct? My question is: are there any ways to further reduce the dB without compromising performance?

Wow Gordone those are dirt cheap! Pricewise that is. A sound deadener/reducer would be to wrap the baffle tube with fiberglass wrap, unless already provided? Have never seen/worked with a Delkevic pipe but appears it does come with a removeable baffle pipe. I know on the Vance Hines wrap vs no wrap, wrapping takes the "tinny" sound out of it.

I think these exhaust is good value for the money and it looks good.

This is how the DB killer looks when taken out. It consists of two parts, so where should I wrap it with fiberglass?
Has anyone done this on a Delkevic before?I’ve also sent an email to Delkevic to ask how they recommend doing it.

There isn't much room to wrap in fibreglass,  these are not that noisy I've used them myself, maybe change the system to a delkevic 4 into 4 if you want it quieter,  remember as bike riders we need a bit of noise as some of the clowns on the roads just don't look.

Back in the day, Kerker sold a quiet baffle option.  I'm not sure, but maybe the "Kawasaki" branded Kerker came with one?  Anyway, it was fairly elaborate, and didn't rely on fiberglass to absorb the sound.  There was a different metal baffle system.  I might have some saved photos, have to look.  My opinion is that most aftermarket exhaust systems are too loud, Delkevic for sure.  Making a quiet baffle should not be overly difficult though.  That's what I would do anyway.
