- how much more vibration do you get with the solid mounts ?
It's not noticable, just the same as a normal Z.

 
Thanks, that will save me about £60 on new rubber mounts (will pay for my choke plungers :)

I used 1" OD 6061 and just left them solid for my engine spacers.

Funny how the J motor got rid of the rear lower mounts, but the 750 Zep and ZR7 lost the front lower mounts. Maybe the stress output due to the stroke differences?

I guess you would have to be sitting in the Casting/CAE design meeting to find out :)

Maybe the all rubber front mounts along with the sound deadener in the sprocket cover was an attempt to make it more civilised ??????
