Swapping Cylinder Head Nuts

Is it safe to R&R cylinder head nuts one at a time on a cold motor with the spark plugs removed?

A Cometic MLS head gasket is installed, and the motor currently has about seven hundred miles on it.

Plan is to replace all twelve one nut at a time without disturbing the head gasket seal.

Will the oil passageways below the outer four nuts w/copper washers potentially create a problem?

Replacing the cyl. nuts one by one in the torque sequence procedere should be no problem.....my 2 cents!

Done!

I did clean oil residue from the head with acetone on cotton swabs, and installed another set of annealed used copper washers.

With the current jetting, this engine runs fantastic:
