I use once a year on my carburetted V-8 to clean the fuel system, just in case. After use, intake ports are little clean but never seen any changes to the valves (had to change intake gasket few times after use. Old cheap gasket and loose torque was the corrupt).

I've only seen good results using seafoam to clean intakes. It does a pretty good job at removing loose buildup. I've never used it on a motorbike though.
But it won't completely clean anything - it's better than nothing, but there's no 1-minute solution for cleaning your valves.

A little grunge on the back side of the valves won't hurt anything. Some Seafoam won't hurt either, but don't expect your valves to be sparkling clean afterwards.

Are you asking about the valve in the head out of the motor, or assembled in the running motor? Your question is very vague.
On a running motor I have seen car guys use combustion chamber cleaner like this :
Smokes like hell, never used it on my engine as it looked real messy and if not used to direction could really hurt (damage) your motor.
You really don't need to do this if you ride you bike hard enough so it does not load up (too much idling)
On a head that is out of the motor I just soak in undiluted Simple Green, a few days of soaking and the carbon will scrape of easily.

Want to clean the inside of your motor do ya ?????
Old timers cheap tuneup,
Get motor good and hot , ( Not to hot , just warmed up real good )
With engine running spray water into carbs and keep motor running by giving it more throttle.
Dont give the motor to much water and stall it or you will cause a potential hydrolock and bend rods
Steam will pour out exhaust and clounds of grey and black shit
Motor is now clean as can be by steam cleaning
Good luck

I believe that the Seafoam aerosol spray is meant to be injected into a throttle body for a certain amount of time while the engine is running. I did use it on a 4 cylinder Ford Ranger motor, (tons of smoke during the process), and found it very effective on overall performance, (before and after). I don't know if that can be applied to a inline 4 cylinder motorcycle engine as it has 4 separate carbs. It may be worth a try if you're looking for a tune-up in a can.
