Hello I am building a HP engine with a 1428 block I have lost the Dowel pins the goes in the edge of number 1 and 4, as the bore is so big it has a D shape.
does anybody has an idea where can I source them?

I grew up riding and fixing all sort of small bike until I inherited A 1977 GS 750 when I was 16, that changed my life completely I love metric bike and I own a few fully working and have some projects.

The D shaped pin is a modified stock round one with a flat on the side.
You just need to do the same.
They aren't hardened steel so are easy to machine/file.
