When you did your compression check did you fully open your throttle?
Also, pull the fuel pump and fuel injector fuse when you do a compression check. You don't want fuel being pumped into the cylinder during the test. If you have a spark and your spark plugs are pulled out, you'll have a nasty fire. Plus, the raw fuel will wash the oil off of your cylinders.
