One Pot Not Got !

Hey all, got a 78 KZ650 SR, she has decent compression on all 4, but one seems to not want to fire...Also, think the points are out and can't find anyone local to help me set them. I don't want to buy electronic ignition until I know the machine doesn't need total overhaul. Can anyone give me a process to diagnose/start bike ???

You really need to buy the Kawasaki Service Manual for your exact year and model bike. Replacing the points is very simple, but you need to use the instructions in the manual to do it properly. Ed

I fixed your picture for you . Next time hit the insert , or insert all button.
Maintenance on these bikes is straight forward, but you really need a manual and life will be good.
Some manuals are here on the site if you take a look to download, but a hard copy is the best .

Thanks Ed, got a Clymer. Would Z1 Ent have the parts ? They don't seem to have the screws to tighten the plate, mine are chewed pretty good.
