Cutting out-Fuel or electronics???

1075 with 29 smoothbores., Dyns S and Dyna coils and revlimiter. Hot to coils comes from a relay.

Problem- When motor is lightly warmed up it runs strong unless you really crank on it that it is an abrupt off/on stutter. If you cruise it is good for awhile and then starts to do the intermittent stutter thing. If you pull in the clutch it will rev cleanly. Fires right up.

Not sure where to start or what to diagnose. Checked for any visible loose connections . Where do I start? Thanks

Did the ignition advancer move freely, some cleaning and some lube did it.
A clogged tank cap vent or petcock minimize the fuel flow.

Will check the advance, Cap doesnt seal that tight and did try running it open. Without load it revs freely and sounds crisp.
Thanks

Did it just start doing this and has it ever ran right since you've owned it?

Just started. I have owned it 43 years!

Update. I checked over the wiring and removed the rev limiter. I found a bare spot on the hot wire that feeds the coils and ignition. It was right where and come out of the relay and could bounce and touch the frame. A short test ride and all is well. I need to do a longer ride as that seemed to exhibit the problem more when warmed up good, Will see tomorrow.
