Delkevic Install - Center stand

If anyone has a delkevic system or knows of them I'm having some issues installing mine. The spring on the center stand is making contact with the collector. It doesn't effect performance but I'd rather it not scratch the exhaust. Did I do something wrong during the installation or what issues could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

One of my sons has a Delkevic on his bike. You can either rotate the pipe that goes from the collector to the muffler, or put rubber spacers where the muffler fits to the frame. You may have mounted the collector too close to the body. Its a simple fix. Dont panic and use your wits.

Great thank you for the tips! I rotated the pipe at the collector and was able to get a little bit more clearance between the center stand and the pipe.

So i got the exhaust on and was excited to hear it. While it was still cooling down I went to wipe the pipes off with a microfiber cloth and it left it burnt off onto the pipe. Pretty stupid move but is there any way to get this stuff off?

It will burn off. Dont try to wipe it with steel wool or you will mess up the grain of the pipe.

Calm down. You should have thought "oh the pipe is hot, if I wipe it with this cloth it will melt." Youre moving too fast. Slow down from your excitement and think: heat burns, heat melts.

Just ride the bike and it will come off over time. Do you have video to what that bike sounds like now?

I thnk you might need a lesson in how to rev a bike to show what the exhaust sounds like. The quick wrist flipping is what my teenage son does. You need to roll the throttle through the revs slowly. I still have no idea what the exhaust sounds like.

hahah if it wasn't midnight when i took this clip I would've gone louder w it can't piss the neighbors off too much  and good point the short bursts of the throttle don't give a sense of the tone of the pipe. don't think my phone does the sound too much justice either.
