My bendix is stuck. I have dismantle the starter motor completely and it was working just fine, but now ita the same problem again. I have changed the carbons and cleaned the inner parts and everything, but the bendix keeps getting stuck. I do not want to go around with a hammer to start the bike everytime

Good question; is this starter on a Kawasaki? I don't know of any KZ that uses a starter with a Bendix. Ed

Chances are the bushings are worn out.

The bushings are the bearings. If they are sloppy the starter will drag and eventually won't work at all.

The " black square thingies" are likely the brushes that contact and supply power to the copper commutator. The commutator is the copper component (at the left end (n your pec) of the armature that has the many axial slots. Each opposing pair of commutator contacts supplies 12vdc to the windings of the armature as it rotates.

The bushings/bearings are what the armature shaft rotates in in the end caps.
