PMFR Clutch release plate
27 Jan 2016 08:42
I have a PMFR clutch release for my kz1000J motor but no hardware. Can anyone tell me what length the spacers are needed to mount it?

are you taking about a hydraulic clutch conversion? If so,I think it would depend on what slave cylinder you are using. I also have to sort this out on mine and was wondering how to go about it.So far,the best I can come up with is trial and error.

OK,it should be easy enough to measure from the original set up then,if you still have it .But then again,Im only guessing as I thought that these plates were for hyrdaulic conversions. If thats not the case, then Im missinformed and have no idea what Im talking about. So I would advise you to ignore anything I say!
Good luck with it.

Davido,
It is a plate similar to what you made, but for the factory release mechanism. Drag racers like them because they are light and allow easy access to the front sprocket between runs.
