magic clutch

I just took my bike out for it's first legal licensed ride ..... only to find that the clutch disappeared a kilometer into the run.

it's weird. The linkage on the chain side is working fine - all hooked up wonderfully ... and the clutch is oerfect for the minute it does work. I'm boggled - just loking for thoughts before I split it open yet again .... man can it pull now .... I'll setup some pics tonight.
