WHERE DO I GET THOSE PIPES???

That sweet 76? kz 900 on the front of this website has pipes i simply must have. I have an 81 kz 1000ltd all stock. does anyone know who's bike that is? or where to find that exhaust?

I don't think you'll find it easy or even possible to mount these on your bike besides the fact the cost of these means it is for the restorer of an old Z1 more than someone trying to customize some other bike. If you take the plunge and you get them to mount be sure to post photos including all the special bracketry you'll have to make.

Wow...$1500...mucho deniro...why am I not sticker shocked? I must be building up tolerance for modern pricing structures on motorbike parts and accessories.....ok, sorry, now I've gone and scared myself...modern...whew! It ain't me. :dry: :blink:

I don't have any idea how much trouble it would be, but I have seen Z1 pipes mounted on early model KZ1000's and on bikes as recent as Zephyrs. I know it is tedious, but thumb through www.kawasaki-z.de and you may want to contact www.z-klasmo.de as I suspect they assisted (in some fashion) with the mounting/sales.

I'll sell you mine, they're not perfect, right upper rusted thru at the rear mounting bolt, crome isn't perfect either, oh yah needs baffles. But, I'll sell em to you for a reasonable price.:whistle:
