i think cylinder wash is when your gas mixes with the oil and breaks down the oil therefore contaminating your oil....and your bike wont fire....but there is a way to clean them off by going thru the plug hole...wd 40 in both sparkplug holes fifteen seconds re install plugs and try to start...if it pops drain oil put in new oil and fire it up...it starts...i want to knw how can the gas intermix with the oil?too much oil, worn gasket, etc?

not sure about this wash and wd40 talk, but if youve got gas in your oil you need to look at yur carbs, primarily the floats. a stuck float (down) will over fill your carb causing it to leak gas into your cylinder and it(gas) will sit there and slowly flow past your cylinder rings and into your crankcase. also look at your petcock. i switched over to a manual (vs vaccuum) petcock so i can shut it off and be sure fuel isnt continually flowing into the carbs in case a float does get stuck down.. after u fix this then you NEED new oil in your crankcase.

Gas mixes with oil when you have a carburetor float that isn't stopping the flow of fuel from the tank. Either the needle and seat are leaking or the float is mis-adjusted. Also, this is evidence of a petcock that was either left on (in the case of a manual petcock) or one that does not seal properly (in the case of a vacuum petcock.) The net result of all this fuel leaking is a cylinder that fills with fuel when the bike is sitting. Eventually the fuel leaks past the piston rings and into the crankcase oil. If the rings seal well enough to prevent this from happening, then you hydro-lock that cylinder the next time you try and start the bike. Which can bend the connecting rod.
It's definitely a situation that needs to be corrected. I would disconnect the fuel line from the petcock to the carbs and determine if the petcock stops the flow of fuel if set to off (in the case of a manual petcock.) In the case of a vacuum petcock, it should stop the fuel flow with no vacuum when set to on. If the petcock is leaking, then replace or rebuild it.
Next, it's time to perform the clear tube test for proper carburetor float height measurement per the service manual. If you have any carburetor that you cannot keep the actual fuel level at the specified height, then you can bet that this carburetor is leaking at the needle and seat. It's time to rebuild the carburetor at this point.
Once you have all the fuel leak issues resolved, then you need to change the oil to remove the contaminated oil/gas mixture.
