have been here in the past..and since have seen alot of arguing over octanes...have replaced stock slugs with wiscos...fresh hone and break went fine..did notice that the dome on the wiseco piston was higher than stock..hence the 10.25-1 comp. rating as opposed to the 8-1 stock...is higher octane going to benefit much?dyna super coils..stage three jet kit..dyna-s ignition..wide open can..

You have higher compression. You will need to use higher octane gas else your bike will ping. If it does ping using hi-test (93 octane), you will have to purchase an ignition capable of adjusting the igntion advance, like a Dyna 2000 OR learn how to retard the advance using the stock points plate.
