77 KZ1000 No Compression? Need Help

found a guy selling a 77 kz1000a who bought it from a friend, said last year hard starting he put in a dyna
ignition, repainted 26k mi nice project bike.
4 into 1, k&n's, stock carb jets.
there is no compression when turing over the motor, it sounds different, a compression test on #1 needle
does not move, he said he lifted the top cover partially and noticed the cams move, whats lefts-burned holes in the pistons using stock jets and a lean condition?
looks like bike had many miles with this set-up then parked.
I need to be certain before buying it.

What wireman said. If you suspect holed piston after this, have a look with a hand mirror and a flashlight. If it's in Atlanta, I can take a look on or after the 20th. Kind of tied up until then.
