how many lbs do i need for my 530 chain? going on a 1075, stock cams.

Just get any modern o or x ring chain. They'll be fine.

I snaped a o ring chain with my 1015 (630). As long as you dont do hole shots your ok but i went with a 350HP (630)non o-ring chain Lenny.....

I've had very good luck using the DID 530ZLS on my FJ1200. It lists as having 10,520 lbs T.S. The last one did over 20k miles on the street. I also always use steel Sunstar sprockets. Yes, they do cost a bit more then the lesser chains and sprockets, but my bikes are worth it.

Wid dat big ole tire it might be better to leave you a weakest link, better to snap a chain than a tranny or crank :laugh:

Aluminum rear sprockets dont last like steel sprockets. If its a race bike sure, go ahead. If its a street bike, not so much.
