Head Gasket Dressing?

What's the concensus on using or not using some form of dressing when fitting a new head gasket?

Using a new gasket(s), as supplied in the full gasket kit from jeff (Z1) on 1015 block with 903 head and 10:1 compression ratio.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I used Gask-a-cinch on all gaskets when I rebuilt my topend.

I get it at the small local british twin / ducati dealer, but I've seen it at the motorcycle megastore as well... It's cheap and it works. I used some crazy Caterpillar goop from one of my buddies for the aluminum cam plugs, probably very similar to Threebond.

Yeah, I'm with wireman. My shop friend recommended the copper spray stuff.. Worked great.
