out of the box with stock exhuast they were about 83 according to kawasaki,but that was just a blanket number they through over all the early 1000s.ive never seen any 2 that ran exactly the same though even when they were new .:whistle: goodluck,happy wrenching!

Horsepower given by Kaw is sort of suspect as it is crankshaft horsepower and likely inflated for marketing reasons. Most 903/1015 models had between 65-75 horsepower at the rear wheel stock.
