If they are anything like the Abe Honda kits, they are cast pistons and there are no replacement rings available

I have an 80 LTD 1000 and was looking at a wiseco piston kit to also increase the engine size as well. Anyone have any tips or resources in building or recommended parts?

Not being familliar with these piston kits, I would like to add at least 50 to 100 cc to the engine.

GregZ, did you ever get those H-A pistons? I fould a new kit with pistons, rings, C-clips and pins.
Anyone here have info. on them? Guy doesn't know the compression either but i'm guessing it must be atleast 10.5:1

what happens if you break a ring putting them in the bike or worse yet while your putting them on the pistons i not like it hasn't happened to me before. i'd stay away from them and buy wiseco there are some relly good deals going on right now don't limit yourself to e-bay i'm at the point where i hardly ever look there any more i've bought four things off e-bay and i've been screwed by people 3 of those times not quite as advertised.you never know what could happen but if you buy from a company as good as wiseco at least in ten years you'll be able to get parts for your kit.
