Hi!

Has anyone heard of this company, " Legends Motorcycles Inc.The Merchants of Vintage"? They are located in metro Denver Colorado.

I planning to buy some parts from them.

Looks like a good source for vintage tires.

I don't know anything about them, but 5200 Eldridge st is a residential neighborhood in old farmland. Of course no more farms in Arvada for the most part but I rode by to confirm. It's a farmhouse. Doesn't mean anything bad, someone could sell out of a house as well as a business. They are in the Denver phone book as a business.

There is a similar thing up in Richmond Illinois. Driving past it, you'd never know it, but there is a complete motorcycle shop in the garage of a non-assuming farm house. Mostly English bikes, but some Jap stuff too. The owner is very knowledgable and helpful. There is a sign out front saying "motorcycle shop", but you really wouldn't notice it.

I guess it only pays if you can cut the overhead to a minimum. :)

I talked to a fiend of mine who knows the guy and the story is he had a business here in Denver up until recently mostly dealing in British bike parts and service. He decided to close the business and pretty much just sell out of his house via the internet. So it's legit.

I took my 1100 to him before I found this place, and took my mechanics classes when I first got my kz. He tuned it up and reset the pilot jets, for a really fair price. He has helped with some bultaco questions too. I don't blame him for moving his shop though. It was located on federal by rocky's and he was next door to some unsavory fellows using a detail shop as a front.
