Yes i have had a look through the archives ;)

Rebuilt a 4 cyl 750 motor with 810 kit and 30 thou shaved head and it seems that the old starter clutch cant handle the pressure. so who makes the repair kits? and is it possible to get heavy duty ones or a new standard one should do the trick?
i want to try and find one in Australia before i mail order from the states. its just that we dont have a very good aftermarket scene over here for the old kwaks. Zpower.com.au weren't much help either.

looking forward to the replies.

another question.
are the parts in the kit's better than genuine kawasaki or the same. i was just speaking to a shop and they say you cant get a kit, just have to buy all the parts separately. what is the parts that actually wear out?

Jay,

I can't help you, other than to say that I hope you find out the answer to your questions. I might need to attack my starter clutch soon, and I am NOT looking forward to it.

the sprag clutch=starter clutch(grabs in 1 direction, slipps in the other direction)
I have never found a aftermarket starter clutch.

Genuine Kawasaki only on these pieces.

new guts and it will spin that engine tight!

the gear with smooth center, 3 rollers and 3small springs are the wearable parts in there.
