Well ...took the bike out to for my first ride. Put over 200 miles around trip. Trip consisted of hwy and a lot of curves in the North Georgia Mt. Handle lot better then my 79kz1000 but felt the need for rear arm bearings.
Also the tank is small as I only got 85 miles before reserve..... That is only 35 miles per gallon...used 2.5 gallons.

Gorgeous bike! Beautiful countryside. And if the temps are close what we had here over the weekend (upper 70's) then you had a perfect day. Changing out the rear bearings are not a big deal. Can be expensive though.

Thanks guys....actual got tired of talking about it...every where we would stop I had people come up and ask questions.
Temps were around 75.
Bike came with 29mm smooth ores but bike was not running right. I'm using my 26mm with 25 pilots and 132.5 mains. Running little rich in the mid range. Did have 17.5 but would back fire at 4k to 6 k then it would clear up. Think I need 20 or 22.5. Yes velocity stacks

132.5's are a little large for 26's.

I'm running pods with 115mains, and #20 pilots in my 26mm carbs at density altitudes of 5,000'msl to +10,000'msl.
Runs just a wee bit rich in the slower/lower throttle settings with the #20 pilots but nice at the transition to full throttle and above. Feels rich in the high country mountains, of course, but don't they all?

Yeah, my old 350 Honda didn't care what elevation we were at. CV carbs. Apples and oranges.
