Due to the flood, that's a first.

Forrest got his 77 KZ650 running good and he was going to go with us.

I'm going to see if he wants to hit the one at the Starved Rock Harley shop instead

We need back up

Well we went to the Blessing and KZR member Forrest " The Mad Duck " joined us on his beautifully restored 77 KZ650 .

We were surrounded by ruffly 250 V twins , 3 CanAm trikes and 1 Gold wing
Everyone was very cool though and we burned a tank of gas on the country roads afterwards.
Even stopped off at a guys house to pickup a front fender for my sons bike along the way.

Yesterday was a real good day

Thanks for posting Jack. It was great to get back out on the KZ650. AND, it was a genuine pleasure meeting your lovely bride. She was a real trooper bombing those back roads with us yesterday. Hope that fender deal worked out.

Looks like you folks had a beautiful day for some back-road blasts, for sure! It's good to see some fellow Illinois natives posting-up lovely pics of their rides n good memories. I'm from Morton (outside Peoria) and sorely miss the decent folks back there. I'm in Jersey now & traveling to NYC every friggin' day ( I'm a Local #3 electrician)sure does make me ornery Take care n keep 'em rubber-side-down!

Thank you for the kind words for True Illinois folks. There are lots of good people for sure no matter what the Chicago politicians and media lead us to believe.
