Really enjoying this thread!! I am curious......anyone know of any nice Covered Bridges in East Tennessee? I know of one in "Sevierville",Ive been to it a couple times, cant remember the name right now......I am sure there are some but want to find some within 50-75 miles of 37865 zip code....any on line experts here to help an old gheeezer out??

I love old bridges. Don't believe on burning them unless I have to. When my friend bought Hole in the Hills, there was a flat car as a bridge across the gorge Bee Gum Creek made. 200 year old ranch with apple trees along the creek. God I miss that place. 25 miles of logging roads to get there. Enough of that. Bring on more bridges.

Some bridges close to home that we often cross over in Western Australia.

One Lane Bridge, Nanga Road, Dwellingup.

Haul Pak Bridge, Nanga Road, Waroona.

Blackwood River Bridge, Blackwood River Road, Nannup.

I can't find any Z1's to play with not to mention bridges.

...Sweet pix! Brings tears to my eyes, though. Just sold my Z1-R that looked just like the one in your pix. (Minus the fuzzy seat) Too many bikes, something had to go.

...That's an awesome group you have there. Like Steve said, wish I had that many Z's around to play with. I just don't see many around here anymore. Definitely not in that condition if I do see one. Lucky you!

...As you can see, I mostly ride solo because of it.


...Plus, you get to do goofy things, waste time and don't have to listen to someone bitch about getting home to the Wife, or Girlfriend.

The only time I've ridin with other Z's is when it was with the flag, it would be nice to keep it rolling.

Hey Jack, sorry we missed you guys on your trip thru Quincy on Friday. Saturday night was the big lighting ceremony for the city's 175th year celebration.

We flew thru Quincy and Missouri and made it to Fort Madison by dusk.
I hope we can try again to meet up again soon

...Well, I'm on vacation and trying to ride as much as possible. In my 4 hour trek today, I came across this little gem of a bridge in the middle of some state park land today. A steel and wood, one lane bridge. No biggie, but a pretty cool bridge for out in the middle of nowhere.

That old mine road plaque looks old , around here it would have been ripped off years ago.
Headed to the Illinois Blues Fest in Peoria tomorrow, it is on the river and they have a real nice bridge right through it
