Sharp lookin' ZX-6R. Is that a 636 or a 600?

Finally, on the way home, I stopped by Hooks Airport. There used to be a small lake there. I would take the kids fishing there since it's about 5 minutes from the house and had plenty of willing largemouth bass. I guess that's not happening for next few years. :( It seems so ironic that large areas of the country have seen enormous flooding this year and we can't buy a drop of rain. I don't intend to make light of the storms, but we were actually praying that Lee would hit us as a tropical storm. That's how bad we need the rain. A tropical system is the only hope we have for some significant precipitation until next spring.

Thanks for pointing that out Martin. I had intended to mention that all of the stick pins that I placed on the map have some sort of note attached. You can also click the pins directly on the map to pull up the attached note.

As you well know, the road conditions can be very changeable, especially on rural roads.

The center stripe rumble strips are the first that I have seen also. Probably a good thing on balance, but I would be cautious about crossing the center if it were wet.

I feel for you guys in texas all that intense heat all summer and along with that comes drought and fire.Over here in New jersey we had 100 degree heat for a week that was enough. We had 5 bad floods this year alone cant wait for the snow  .Wish i could send some water to you.Up here in the highlands of Jersey on the steep roads they grind the hole road to help with traction in wet and ice conditions pucker factor hi.They ruined some good roads  Hope you get rain soon Mother nature must be pissed off at us.Stay safe.
