Okay now I am as excited about this one as I am about the MotoGP...

I just got our invitation for this years event and was looking over the admission costs for two adults and dates and stuff so we can buy our tickets today....

then i remembered talking to few guys last during the show who bought the two day ride/lunch/laguna seca track time in jeans and street gear/dinner V.I.P and display-next day special on display parking/lunch again/and show plus a gift bag with an event t-shirt/ package---they were saying the track time alone was worth the 250.00 and the whole package was a steal when you consider the caliber of the meals and the 100 mile group ride with moto legends, editors and cycle amg guys ect.. ect..

So i call the event gal and have an appointment to go pay my fee and get the details at the lodge monday....

I am Way jazzed...

here are the details and a cool clip form the event last yr..we looked and cant see Amy or I but the shots are quick......my bike will be on the grouped polo field with other non contest judged asian bikes....how cool is this Gig...i can not wait...talked to greg today and the paint should be done way in time..shipping monday!!!!

oh and the thing that got me to go for the 250 deal is the guys last year said they got free run of the track for a good while and were allowed to use common sense and blast away....they said folks were hitting some good speeds and then they go to a catered 5 star buffet at the corkscrew...

I must admit...that would be fun to do ...but I'm savin' my pennies for Mid-Ohio this year.

I need to provide a picture of the MKII for mondays meeting and i was thinking the first picture above in the lat replay with the ocean behind and fields or this one in this reply....

I told the Gal it would be painted and restored more by then and she said just a current picture so they can group the bikes ect...

I hear ya...plus the other thousands i'm spending on the bikes and GP...if it was not in my backyard I could not do it without some major planning...

that said anyone...ANYONE!!!!...who thinks they are thinking of attending..let me know and we will lodge and feed any who can attend..and show you the sights ect...

well it is down to a few more working days on the bike and i have cut i super close...i should be fine...i rode the bike before tearing into these simple upgrades...so ...so...anyways

i am gonna be lucky if i get the bike running and riding right....

there is always next year...i want to really get a few things nicer each year and use this event for the bikes spring coming out of a stage of changes each year.....new gear or a new camera...kinda a high water mark before the gp each year thingy

i also though i would have time to get a nice helmet cam...250.00...and i may still next week at the last second ....but i kinda dont think so now...my camrera takes video so i can walk the event

that is if i can get the bike done by this sunday...ride it to work a few times and some longer put puts after work...friday the 13th is getting sooooo close...

i am accepting that i may have to have rough areas to make it by next weekend

no refund 250.00 so...i better have it running by this sunday night

having the bike right comes first.
at least running right if you have to run stuff the doesn't quite please your eye so be it.
but breaking down on the ride is not an option .

we will take whatever pics and vids we get .
