Nice. It's been raining all week here in North Idaho. My Fiance moved up here from Central Cal. in July and the weather has sucked. She isn't liking it too much.

i had never seen a whole horizon as far as i could see in any direction, with giant clouds all in lock step with perfect flat bottoms...chopped clean underneath from the rockies....with the whole western back drop colored fire red at sunset...shafts of light breaking down from the even bottoms...unreal...denver sunset looking west

Well that was a blast, it gets into a National Park where the road is curvy, but the Posted Speeds are Low 20-30mph, sorry might have added 1 to the other,

So I've got this other all mapped out, an all day ride from the looks of it, by the time you get some gas, lunch, whatever.

Well just got back from doing the top half of the fore mentioned route,

I cut the lower part off for this ride. So worked out to around 175mi, and 4.5 hrs. Bike ran great, and most of the rad was light traffic until getting to Cripple Creek back to Woodland park. All the Sunday afternoon drivers going to the Casinos and taking pictures of the Beautiful Fall foliage. The Aspens are a brilliant golden color at the moment.

So After Putting on the Accel coils, I've run 274 miles and am getting 48.06 MPG. Not to bad considering that I am not going for fuel economy on these rides. I am doing some medium hard runs around those curvy roads. This pretty much matches the mileage figures that I got on my 3600mi trip to Seattle and back. There I had more weight, but ran with mileage in mind, all except 1 section of I70 where I found that if I didn't cut back on speed I wouldn't make the next Gas stop.

I wish i could ride like that!!! its getn cold here
