Me and my two best buds are taking a road trip, leaving Presque Isle ME on 8/1 and taking 7 days to go to Halifax/Cabot trail and back.

I am thinking of stopping in Madawaska ME (one of the four corners points). Peggy's Cove NS and maybe PEI. Anyone know any other points of interest we should hit up on our way?

Good food?
Clean hotels?

We have a place to stay outside of Halifax (the in-laws house) but other than that we are free to explore as we like... any input would be welcome!
