Folks,
last Friday I went zero gravity thanks to the Space Shuttle program and NASA.
The plane we flew in is a converted Boeing 727 that has almost all the seats removed. Roughly 30 employees attended the morning flight and we had a blast. We flew 1 simulated Martian gravity (1/3rd earth gravity) 2 Lunar gravity (1/6th earth gravity) and 12 zero gravity parabolas.
When the plane arcs over you come off the floor of the plane and just float--or bounce off the roof or walls for 20 to 30 seconds. During the weightless times, people were flying into one another, doing flips, some flying like Superman, and some got airsick.
When you're floating weightless if you push off a wall, you take off really fast--surprisingly fast. I hit the roof of the plane several times (it is padded--the roof, floor and walls) depending on how hard the plane arcs, I just learned to put my arms over my head when we were about to go weightless.
Oh well, this is my ride report... Not your usual ride, but hey what can a guy do? If you're curious you can check out their website at www.goZeroG.com

I once met this good looking chick in a bar years ago before I got married. After a bit I realized she was kinda ditzy and giggly , but still, a real looker. Kinda like Cameron Diaz. Well, I wasn't exactly looking for marriage material that night, so brains weren't really a prerequisite. Somehow the conversation steered towards scuba diving, sky diving and the like. I knew I had a winner when she said she used to work at NASA, and she used to sneak into the "anti-gravity chamber" and "float around".
Perfect one nighter. Charlie Sheen ain't got nuttin on me.

4-6 grand!!!! Wow, I'd say you have something there. Let us know when they get friends and family discounts I would be interested. :) 4 grand for a few minutes is about how much I ended up spending last year on my bike for a few minutes of oil deprivation. ;) Would gladly have traded that experience for yours.
