Well I was starting to lose my marbles locked up inside all winter, but I finally dusted off the old girl yesterday and took her for a spin. There is still a lot of pea sized gravel around on the sides of the roads, but the city crews are getting their acts together and are getting it all cleaned up.
Much to my delight, I pushed the key into the ignition, primed the carbs and hit the starter button and volia the bike started up instantly. I almost did a backflip.
Anyways, I brought her to the gas station and gave her a once over with the power sprayer and a full tank of gas, then changed the oil with some nice new oil. The difference in noise level and smoothness in the shift lever was noticeable right away.
I could not be happier. Anyways it is nice to be back in the saddle.
