Damn, my ass hurts...

My fiance's car (that I have here in Chicago) wasn't fit
for the trip home so I went home to Michigan Friday night
on a train. Saturday night I checked on return prices and
I was shocked to see that they were double! Then even
wanted to charge me an extra 40% if someone bought the
ticket for me.

So Sunday morning I bought a small tool kit (every last tool
I own was in Chicago) and I reassembled some parts of my
bike. I tested it out on the highway for a bit and realized
that it was going to be a LONG trip to Chicago. Never the less, I went.

It took about 6 hours. My bike sucks around town but on the
freeway she really shines. I kept it around 6000-6500 the
whole trip - well at least until I had a few miles of E-way
left. (Had a few Harley's coming up on me and I put em down
at about 8000 rpm. Not sure how fast that was)

So, 350 miles down. The farthest I had been before was 40 miles round trip. and boy, did my ass hurt...

Bee Sting. Dude you never got back to me about the ride. Had I known we could have ridden a bit around here. Chicago is my town. Listen this weekend if you are not doing anything maybe you would be interested in a real LONG ride to St. Louis. If you would like to come up Friday (if you can) we can meet up and ride out and then either ride to St. Louie or stop get a room at some place and finish in the morning. I have a guy who likes to ride fat ladies but swears he is a kz nut and has about 4 kawasakis two kz's and two mkII's one which made me drool but loves the fat beach he calls his fav. To each their own. A guy who owns an Indian and another guy who rides an Ltd 1000 plus a few other maybes which I won't count. Looking to be a nice ride. They tell me that it is a mini sturgis this time of year down there. Those guys I will meet up with number about 20. We might coax them to ride if we all go down on kawi's. Sorry I didnt get back with you. A few days after I got in town is when my chain took a dump. I'd probably be back on the road by now if I hadn't ordered the wrong rear sprocket.

I have all the parts I need now but my boss is out of town until Saturday. I'm running out of good riding days... I know...


I'll let you know when I'm up and running. I'm not opposed to doing some cruising even if it's cooler outside.

Cool. Well I understand that is why God gave us chaps and thermal underwear for. lol Well just message me when you are down for a ride and perhaps if the weather lets us we can get together.
St. Louis kicked ass and in fact we all almost kicked someone's ass that tried to run us off of the road. I am glad he got away or we would probably put him in a coma for the stupid shit he pulled not once but several times. He lives up by your area.
