Gotta ask, which one is Mike? Never have met ya fellas, the thinner one or robust man? Gotta say though, feeling Your confusion/pain, It'll get better as all scars from life/time life's experiences do. I've lost children/best friends/parents/wifes in horrendous ways i won't recount thru the last past 10yrs. I'm not a religious sort and not affiliated in any way. So i sort the passings as, "don't remember before i was born" so why should revel in the fact that i'm going somewhere by doctrine prescribed. We are put on this earth with conscientious, don't know why and isn't a living person that can tell you why. Revel in the time we have/had. I don't give canned answers. But still understand the loss.

I am sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose a loved one. There is just a big empty space that was filled in the past. Keeping your memories of him helps some. If you can, celebrate his life and not your loss.

Funny thing
He is my older Big brother
I'm the Little brother
Mike would tell his friends not to mess with Him or his Little Brother would stomp them LOL

13 Aug 2025 15:45I get it EdSo sorry for your loss, Dave.
All I can say is that when I pass, I want to go the same way.
We had our family viewing Monday. Hard day
But needed to happen .
One good thing was Mike was spared any bad road rash
Funeral home had taken the shirt he had on and cleaned it . Not a rip or mark on it so His son will keep it to honor his Dad..
Burial / internment is Next Wed at Great Lakes National Military cemetary
RIP Bro I miss him

Been gone for two weeks, just saw this. We should all be so fortunate to pass while doing something we love while in the company of friends.
Dave, please accept our most heartfelt condolences to you & yours.
