General KZ Parts
09 Jan 2026 03:18
KZR (Bill) has gifted me this opportunity to offer spares for the masses that frequent this Forum. Don't know if i really deserve it because i'll be first to admit i don't know it all!! I do have my stronger points though, mainly the Z1, KZ900-1000 (76-80) line-up. Have already worked with several members here sourcing needed bits so their feedback is Much More Important then anything i can say about myself. I've been International shipping for decades so i'm very familiar with how the process goes. Unfortunately because times have changed, restrictions/tariffs, have impacted such activity. Just let me know what You seek or your woes, be Glad to Help! Clay

Excellent and Thank-You soo much! Here's a sample, because it's something relevant to stuff i do, also a member Grumpy. His pumper (found) set of Z1R 1980 carbs he sent me. The unfortunate gift of ebay. Incorrect #4 carb, a 1979 with bigger air screw. But found him the correct one and matched the exterior surface for all 4. The carb holder plate was warped, straightening it so slide lifter rod slides easily thru bushings. As You mentioned Wookie, all about transparency and service. I'm Never embarrassed to say i don't know something, that's a strength i believe. I too come from a service based background within a tradeset addled with criminals looking for a quick buck, asphalt. Often the point of interest on the boobtube every spring when the "travelers" are knocking on doors with "extra asphalt on the truck" trickery. The asphalt plants would always get calls of such criminal activity and the plant would call me to to Help out the poor swindled person that got taken with snake-tongued switch and bait gypsies. I could write a book, ha. ED does GREAT work on these things too!!! Once he finishes-up his long needed/wanted Upgrades to his hobble, he'll be back doing what he does soo well. Right ED??

Greetings Clay! Do you have the front and rear wheel hubs for the 1977/1978 KZ1000A model? Don't need the entire wheel for each (i.e. the rims) just the hubs.

Front 4-bolt not a problem, used on lots of the KZ's of different 40 spoke models. The rear is totally unique with that Chrome metal plate A model hub, i don't have that one, sorry. They are often rusty to boot. I can look around for you though!!

Looking forward to it McDroid, haven't talked Your ear off in a while, ha. I am a chatty charles ya know. And for person's seeing this, McDroid has Helped me Tremendously!! He supplied me with texts of the unobtanium manuals of the Z2 and an Original Sprocket for the same. See it's all about a communal effort and no one person can stand on the hill spouting self worth. On the Vendor aspect, here is some stuff to get started, early "ramp" style Z1 carb bits and completed assemblies. I have boxes and Tupperware containers full of similar. Lots of parts and completed units. NOT your typical ebay generated purchases. Everything is clean and checked for fitment. Metal bits re-zinced. I restore so i don't just "wire-wheel" items, that's not going to pass the test of time. Just a start because i really don't where to?
