a Z2000

What about a Z 2000, 8 cilinder Kawasaki? Something like this is a built up project, right here in the Netherlands, by Jan Smit ( a worldwide famous Kawa dragbike tuner, and Joop Michielsen, a true Kawasaki digger, for many years.
And this is no Ai, its real. The      development is getting well, and the project is getting in the end fase

Already been done 25 years ago.
Ok as a one off novelty but a backward step for relative performance and everything else.
I honestly don't know why anyone would want to copy that unless they are fitting a blower or turbo ( judging by the possible plenum between the inlets ) then placing bets on how long it lasts before it goes bang..

Just noticed the side cover has 2300 instead of 2600 (2570 actually)

Yes, the contructeur was a former rocket-ingeneer named Allen Millyard, he build this V8 Z1 in 2000...(he also build a fine couple of H1 and H2 multi cylinder bikes)...
And we will not forget to mention, the famous man from the Netherlands, Henk Vink, with his "Big Spender" dragbike from the mid 70`s !!

Great pioneers ,And for me personally, it doesn't matter whether there is any "utility" or practical value to it; I simply find the inventive spirit, the craftsmanship, and the execution brilliant and admirable!

It's quite amazing how many of these creations Allan Millyard has produced over the years

The crank on this V12 used H2 crank webs and link rod connecting rods which changed the stroke and reduced the capacity to 2300cc.
The V8 Z1000 is also 1600cc instead or 2030cc due to Z650 pistons being used.

Double engine drag bikes have been around since the 1960's, but a double engine KZ street bike is unusual.

Maybe this needs to be moved to the "bike related" section as it seems not to be a personal project.

Not AI. Yes, it runs. Forty-eight smokin cylinders. I read that it is now in a museum someplace.

If anyone is visiting the Barber Vintage Festival this October, the museum there actually has a Millyard on display.
