1981 CSR 650  20k miles

Roller bearings in steerer tube - Took off buckhorn handlebars and installed speed bike bars. - New cam plugs - no leaks! - New 530 roller chain and new front and rear sprockets - Replaced fork seals - New tires - Modified seat to cafe style seat - Cleaned and set up carbs - Relocated turn signals - Set cam/valve clearances - Installed four-into-one Mac exhaust - Installed engine case guards - new battery...original tool set and owners manual.

Check for starter clutch slip. Its the weakest point on any z650.
check carbs are vm24ss airscrew only. Vm22ss and fuel screw carbs are absolute rubbish.

That's a nice looking bike.  Just my view, but I'll gamble on mechanical problems over cosmetic, because they are more fun to fix.

the 1981 kz650-h1 came stock w vm24 carburetors w accelerator pump. probably still has the original carburetors. and the csr lends itself to all sorts of modifications such as some of those already done.
