Scottys z1 (sf4t7)

Yesterday my newly found friend Scotty,(sf4t7) who i met on this site came to my house to help me with the timing on my 77 1000a. This was not the 1st time he has been here but is the 1st time I got to see his z1
 After we set my bike up we were checking out his and he offered me to try it and see what i thought and said don't be afraid to get on it.
Holy smokes that thing rips
pulls hard through every gear.

Hey Ron, thanks for the review!  You can't go wrong with 10.5:1 compression, haha. Next time I'm at Harry's Machined Parts I will relay your assessment to Rick Stetson, who built that motor back in 1982.  All I did last season was freshen it up with new rings, ball hone cylinders and replace cam sprockets and tensioner.  Hopefully we can get your latest KZ1000A running just as well.
