The only motorcycle I ever purchased new , was back in the day, 77 KZ650B , Red. Unfortunately I parted with it at some point (mistake) it was an awesome bike. I have now replaced it with the twin to that bike and really enjoy it,,,,,, once again an awesome bike.
For the life I can't remember what I paid for the bike new, the first time. Anyone know what these sold for new????

They were $2,000 give or take a few dollars new.

I paid $2300 in 75 for my Z1b. It was a demo model with 84 miles on it.

£1136.75p in 1977 for a new B1 here in the uk. Still have both the bike and the reciept.

Paid $1,750 for my KZ650C in 1978. Still got it with over 150,000 miles.

Was looking at a new 79 cbx for 3,300 and a Suzuki 1000 for 2,800 before I decided that was too rich for my blood and decided on my slightly used KZ650 for 1,100.

Best move I ever made.
