Rice-O-Rama 2017 Pics

I'm sure a number of KZR members were at this thing but I haven't seen any photos posted yet. I meant to do this a while ago but, better late than never.

Here are some of the things that caught my eye at Rice-O-Rama this year.

Gotta start with the museum quality Z1R-TC:

This 650 mod (which was for sale) was so well done, the pictures hardly do it justice.

Yes, Spencer MA. We're lucky enough to have two annual Japanese motorcycle events in MA. In the spring, we have Jap Bike Mike's and at the end of the summer, it's Rice-O-Rama.

Wanted one of those Honda six's so bad.... was into dirt bikes from 74 to 79 till I saw it ..... bought double issues of ever mag article on em and even bought the shop manual for damn near a days pay but never could afford it and got my slightly used 650 in the winter of 1980 that I still have today. Can't complain too much its been good to me.

1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

I go every year . Never been to the other one though . There sure was a lot of two strokes this year . Finally got a nice day this year . Should have got a few pics i guess . Scored up a few parts , Great day

I know what you mean about the 2 strokes. I didn't buy much but I did grab a NOS EK chain for my bike for TEN BUCKS. I haven't been to Jap Bike Mike's yet either. I keep meaning to go but the date never works and it's a little further away. Spencer is a nice 1/2 hour ride for me. Perfect for Sunday cruise.
